A well-established, locally owned service company is looking for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work and enjoys solving real problems for homeowners.
For years, our company has quietly built a strong reputation in the local market by helping families protect their homes while treating animals with respect. Our work blends construction skill, problem solving, and field work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, using their hands, and seeing the results of their craftsmanship every day.
This is not a typical service job. This is skilled exterior work that combines construction knowledge, inspection ability, and practical problem-solving.
If you enjoy being outside, working on homes, and handling challenges that require both technical skill and common sense, this role can turn into a long-term career with significant earning potential.
What This Work Looks Like: Each day involves working directly with homeowners to solve problems around their homes where animals may be gaining access.
Typical work includes:
- Inspecting roofs, attics, and crawlspaces
- Identifying entry points and structural gaps around homes
- Performing professional exterior repairs and protective installations
- Installing vent covers, sealing openings, and reinforcing vulnerable areas
- Working on ladders and steep roof lines
- Using professional hand and power tools
- Communicating clearly with homeowners about findings and solutions
This role blends inspection, light construction, and exterior repair work.
You will spend most of your time working outdoors, on rooftops, around homes, and occasionally in attics or crawlspaces.
Why This Opportunity Is Different: Many people in construction or roofing experience seasonal layoffs or unpredictable work.
This position offers:
- Year-round employment
- Company-provided truck and tools
- Performance-based income growth
- A clear career path into technical leadership or inspections
Over time, this role can develop into either:
- A Skilled Exterior Specialist Focused on hands-on repair and installation work.
- A Field Inspection & Solutions Specialist Focused on inspecting homes, identifying problems, and recommending solutions for homeowners.
Both paths offer strong income potential and long-term stability.
Who Thrives in This Role
The people who do best in this role tend to be:
- Roofers who are confident working on steep roofs
- Carpenters who take pride in doing work the right way
- Construction professionals who enjoy solving structural problems
- People who enjoy working outdoors and using tools
- Individuals who are comfortable around animals and nature
- Self-motivated professionals who prefer independence in their work
If you enjoy figuring things out, fixing problems, and leaving homes better than you found them, you will likely thrive here.
Compensation:
- Income is based on skill, productivity, and results.
- Typical annual earnings range from $45,000 – $90,000+
- High performers can exceed this range depending on production and responsibility.
Additional benefits include:
- Performance bonuses
- Company truck and tools
- Paid time off
- Company uniforms
- 401(k) with company match
- Referral bonuses
- Year-round employment
Basic Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Comfortable working on ladders and pitched roofs
- Able to lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather
- Able to pass background screening
- Experience in roofing, carpentry, construction, or similar trades is highly valued
