Safety Manager

Industrial Enterprises Incorporated (IEI) is looking for a Safety Manager to implement, manage, and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHA requirements.  This position may require travel to out-of-state job sites as needed.

The Safety Manager would be responsible for the following:

Responsible for implementation and enforcement of our Corporate Safety Policy & Procedures.
Ensure job site safety including training, documentation, audits, and reporting
Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and company policies/procedures
Lead safety training for individuals and crews as needed
Research, plan, develop and implement programs and procedures necessary to meet compliance and safety needs
Communicate to all parties in real time to ensure all safety matters are dealt with timely and accurately
Maintain proper safety records and documentation and communicate to all levels of the organization as necessary
Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations and adapt programs and policies as needed
Handle worker’s compensation claims in the event of a workplace accident
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Must be able to work under pressure, maintain a positive, professional attitude with employees and management.
Must be able to work at heights (climb fix ladders such as silo’s & tanks).
Must be able to work in confined space locations (bins, silos & tanks).
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have thorough knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines
Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office program.
Must have a degree in a safety related field, and/or 2+ years of safety experience.
