Now, we’re expanding our outreach team—and we’re looking for a personable, motivated representative to help introduce more homeowners and businesses to the award‑winning Equality Painting experience.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Door‑to‑Door Salesperson who thrives on meeting people, starting conversations, and sharing the value of our services in a genuine, respectful way. You’ll represent a trusted, locally‑rooted brand while canvassing Jefferson City and surrounding areas to generate qualified leads and scheduled estimates.

This is not high‑pressure sales—it’s relationship building, community presence, and an opportunity to share a brand built on honesty and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit neighborhoods and local businesses across Jefferson City and surrounding towns to introduce Equality Painting.
• Speak confidently and kindly with potential customers, sharing our #1‑ranked services and core values.
• Generate qualified painting and drywall project leads and schedule free estimates.
• Distribute door hangers, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Track daily canvassing activity, lead quality, and follow‑ups.
• Represent Equality Painting with Professionalism, Attention to Detail, Timeliness, Cleanliness, and Heart (P.A.T.C.H.).
• Maintain a clean, respectful appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Adhere to ZERO TOLERANCE for drugs or alcohol on site or during work hours.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify high‑potential neighborhoods and outreach strategies.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident, and approachable personality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to speak clearly with homeowners and business owners.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Professional appearance and respect for others’ property and time.
• Comfortable walking door‑to‑door for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to learn and communicate Equality Painting’s services, values, and process.
• Sales or canvassing experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training.
• Must be able to commute to Jefferson City, MO.
